An independent consultant, Duff Johnson is Chairman of the North American chapter and Vice Chairman of the Board for the PDF Association worldwide. A veteran of the electronic document industry, Duff serves as Project Co-Leader of ISO 32000 (PDF) and US Chair and Spokesperson for ISO 14289 (PDF/UA).
In 1996, Duff founded Document Solutions, Inc., the first electronic document service bureau dedicated to PDF technology. More recently, he has served as CEO of Appligent Document Solutions, one of the first companies producing commercial software to manipulate PDF files, and later, as President of NetCentric Technologies.
