iText Group NV is pleased to announce the release of iText 7.1.7, the latest update for iText 7 Core/Community which continues our tradition of steady, predictable, quarterly releases. This version includes improvements to performance and reduced memory usage for certain operations.
This release adds to the other awesome stuff we’ve been doing this year, as it follows hot on the heels of iText 7.1.6 which brought the pdfCalligraph and pdfSweep add-ons up to version 2.0.4, and significantly improved SVG support in iText 7. We now support elliptical paths, S/s and T/t commands for relative/absolute smooth cubic and relative/absolute smooth quadratic Bézier paths. To top it all off, support for SVG transparency was also added.
Like its predecessors, iText 7 is available for free under the AGPL license as iText 7 Community, or under a commercial license as iText 7 Core which includes professional support, the ability to add powerful extra features such as global language support and dynamic PDF programming, and more.
