This web symposium is the first event in a planned series of mobile solutions with PDF. Members of the PDF Association will present application scenarios and solutions showing how PDF can be deployed for mobile PDF business solutions.
The first symposium will broadly address the topic of mobile capture.
Carsten Heiermann, member of the board and CEO of LuraTech, will start with mobile scanning and discuss the challenges of scan quality and performance.
Gary Hodkinson, our UK Chair and member representative of InovoO, will put mobile capture into the context of complete input management.
Jan Hillmer, owner of Formatix, is an expert on PDF forms and will demonstrate how PDF forms can be used on mobile devices.
Leonard Rosenthol, PDF Architect Adobe, will show how mobile signature solutions can be deployed in capture scenarios and in general.
As a result of the above presentations and demonstrations, attendees will be able to gain a good understanding of the issues surrounding mobile capture. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the group of 4 international experts and plan how mobile capture solutions can benefit their business.
