A veteran of the electronic document technology space, Duff has founded and led several software and services businesses in the electronic document industry since 1996. As CEO of the PDF Association Duff coordinates a wide variety of industry activities, represents industry stakeholders in a variety of settings and promotes the advancement and adoption of ISO-standardized PDF technology worldwide. Duff also serves in technical roles as ISO Project co-Leader and US TAG chair for ISO 32000 (the PDF specification) and as ISO Project Leader for ISO 14289 (PDF/UA). In 2023 the PDF Association will focus on technical community while the final phase of the SafeDocs program offers an opportunity to shape the future.
