In 2023 the PDF Association launches PDF Week!

The first PDF Week, held in Paris, May 2-5 2023, launches an all-new type of in-person meeting for PDF Association members, industry observers and technology stakeholders.

Subjects for this PDF Week

PDF Week fosters common understanding with extended in-person Technical and Liaison Working Group meetings and the opportunity to observe and participate in the ISO working group meetings governing PDF technology.

The subjects under discussion in these various TWGs LWGs and ISO WGs include, among others:

A forthcoming “Dated Revision” of ISO 32000-2 including errata to-date and other updates.
Proposed changes to PDF/A-4
Advancing the in-development next-generation forms technology for PDF
Advanced reuse of PDF content
Support for new imaging formats
A focus on integrating digital signatures into PDF’s object structure
Enhancing LaTeX to support creation of tagged PDF
A new proposal for a Document Reference Model to facilitate interoperability of semantic structures in documents.
Forthcoming PDF Accessibility Techniques
Finalizing PDF/UA-2, updating the Matterhorn Protocol
Requirements for PDF/UA processors
New PDF Technology Marketing Working Group
