Office 2007 Update to SP3 Worthwhile for PDF/A Producers


Those running Microsoft Office 2007 may have noticed the recent update to SP3. There’s a small improvement that PDF/A users may appreciate. Office 2007 SP2 included minor issues with the XMP in PDF files produced from the Microsoft engine which could cause PDF/A validators to fail the file. It’s been reported to the PDF/A Competence Center that the latest SP3 release cures these problems, and the resulting PDF files are now validating happily for PDF/A conformance.
