Joint ISO and PDF Association Working Group works on PDF/VT Application Notes

Launched April 23, 2014, the joint ISO TC 130 WG 2 FTF 3 and PDF Association Working Group just met again on May 21, 2014. The group is quite active and will meet every two weeks in the coming months. Their initial focus is on developing best practice guidelines on expressing product intent, completely independent of JDF which is considered too complex by numerous potential PDF/VT users, who value the relative simplicity of output control options in AFP or PostScript. The next web meeting will take place on June 2, 2104.
