Berlin/Germany – axaio software, developer of solutions for PDF creation, printing and content correction workflows for the publishing and printing markets as well as for the creation of tagged, accessible PDF documents, this week released the new MadeToTag version 1.9.101, which supports Adobe’s latest InDesign version 2021.
With the brand-new features and enhancements in Adobe InDesign 2021, such as a streamlined review process using new revision tools, an intelligent scene recognition for a more flexible text flow, and the use of HSB colour values instead of RGB conversion, layouts, graphics and text designs for print and digital are now easier to achieve. axaio is pleased to let you know, that MadeToTag is immediately compatible with InDesign 2021.
axaio MadeToTag is a plug-in for Adobe InDesign to properly prepare InDesign documents for export as accessible, tagged PDF – faster and easier. In addition, the exported PDF meets the criteria of the PDF/UA standard, the international standard for accessible PDF.
The MadeToTag UI is based on a seven-step guide that leads the user safely and intuitively through the creation of a tagged PDF, without the risk of missing any important task.
Tagged PDFs are essential for accessibility, so that screen reader devices for visually impaired people or reading software for users with learning disabilities can provide rich access to a PDF’s content. Tagged PDFs also enable screen reader software programs to offer easy navigation and accessible presentation of content in PDF files.
In addition, the new MadeToTag version includes several improvements and bug fixes. A complete list of the full release notes for MadeToTag version 1.9.101 can be found on our website.
