axaio software solutions compatible with Adobe CC 2014

Berlin – October 15, 2014 - axaio software, developer of solutions for PDF creation, printing and content correction workflows for the publishing and printing markets, announces the compatibility with Adobe’s latest Creative Cloud 2014.

axaio MadeToPrint for InDesign was already compatible with Adobe CC 2014, but now axaio added compatibility of MadeToPrint for Adobe Illustrator,  MadeForLayers for Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, MadeToTag for Adobe InDesign as well as MadeToCompare for Adobe InCopy (without publishing system connection).

axaio MadeToPrint is a plug-in for Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or InCopy and an XTension for QuarkXPress. Depending on the automation version (Standard, Auto or Server), MadeToPrint allows either manual, hot folder or fully automated print and export from a design document to one or more output targets.

axaio MadeForLayers streamlines and simplifies the creation and editing of complex documents. It saves design time and reduces human errors while working with layer-heavy documents. axaio MadeForLayers makes it possible to combine different layers into layer views. Logical layer views help to streamline working with documents that contain multiple language versions, regional variants or different editorial content. In packaging environments, you can clearly differ between multiple technical as well as various design layers.

axaio MadeToTag is an InDesign plugin that helps tagging InDesign files in a user-friendly, logically structured and intuitive way – whether they are created in the cloud or on the desktop. A very handy list of shortcuts for quick and easy tagging, problem locators to avoid mistakes and previews of collected or not collected articles for a better overview, increase the operator’s productivity and therefore saves precious time.

axaio MadeToCompare provides an ideal change and version management solution for Adobe InCopy in editorial and corporate environments. MadeToCompare excels in detecting and conveniently visualizing even the minutest differences between document versions. This way, it makes it easier and quicker to find, edit and correct text passages and individual words. This offers a high level of accuracy, peace-of-mind and considerable savings of time and cost.

Prices and availability*

For existing CC customers (with or without SMA contract) the upgrade to Adobe CC version 2014 is free of charge. Once upgraded, the old Adobe CC version may no longer be used.

Customers who don’t have an SMA contract will only be granted one Adobe CC upgrade. So, for example, new MadeToPrint CC 2014 customers will get the next Adobe CC upgrade for free, but further upgrades will be charged with an upgrade fee.

MadeToPrint comes in three different automation flavors:
MadeToPrint Standard is available from € 349, MadeToPrint Auto is available from € 2.490 and MadeToPrint Server** sells at € 5.490 (up to Server version CC as subscription model only). MadeToPrint easily integrates with editorial systems from Quark, Van Gennep, vjoon and WoodWing.

MadeForLayers costs € 149.

MadeToTag is also priced at € 149.

MadeToCompare is available for € 990.
