The next Tikit and UKDEG Word Excellence Day will be held on 17th January 2013, at the London office of law Firm Simmons & Simmons LLP.
Speakers will include Gary Hodkinson, the Chair of the UK chapter of the PDF Association. His presentation about PDF/A will cover an overview of why PDF/A was created, what exactly this standard contains, what types of sub?standards there are, how PDF/A is used and whether it solves all the problems related to long?term archiving.
