Chicago, IL - March 8, 2018 – Datalogics, the premier source for PDF, EdTech and eBook technologies, announces the release of PDF2IMG, version 2.5. This new release includes improved support for removing unneeded whitespace margins from rendered pages, and enhanced font and color space resource capabilities to ensure accurate and “true-to-original” file conversions. PDF2IMG can now accurately render even larger image files by increasing the maximum supported image size output.
“With over 25 configurable options, PDF2IMG provides users with a variety of choices to convert PDFs into different image file formats. PDF2IMG is an ideal tool to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of industries, and specific applications such as internal documentation and validation, marketing collateral, and print verification,” says Vel Genov, Senior Product Manager for the Datalogics PDF product line.
PDF2IMG enables users to easily convert PDFs to BMP, EPS, GIF, JPEG, PNG, RAW, or TIFF formats, and features new APIs that will retrieve the dimensions of the input PDF file to ensure that the correct aspect ratio is maintained for the output file. Built upon the Adobe PDF Library, users are assured of achieving high-quality image file output they can depend on.
