Valid PDF/A files are available from any desktop application via the ‘Adobe PDF’ printer driver and ACROBAT DISTILLER. And in Adobe Acrobat 8 , 9 and X Pro (MacOSX/Windows), the integrated ‘Preflight’ function not only validates PDF/A, but can in the same step also fix numerous issues reported.
