Google Docs Gets PDF Search and Comments Features

Google Docs users can now do full-text searches within more documents in PDF format, thanks to some new functionality based on OCR technology.

Juan Carlos Perez at TechWorld says, “Users can now search for and copy highlighted text when they open a scanned PDF, such as a fax or a receipt”

He also reports that upgraded features make it easier for users to see a log of all comments made on their files, whether they are drawings, word processing documents or presentations.
