Adobe Systems will layoff 750 employees, about 8 percent of its workforce, in North America and Europe as part of a restructuring plan designed to accelerate growth.
The company says it wants to “grow its analytics and reporting business, especially on mobile devices and social networks,” according to an article from PC World. “In order to drive increased Digital Marketing bookings, which are recognized as recurring revenue, the company will reduce its investment, and expected license revenue, in certain enterprise solution product lines.”
Specifics on which enterprise products would be affected, or how they would be affected, have not been released yet.
