Auf dem Hintergund des PDF/UA-Standads der ISO wird erwartet, dass PDF sich zu einem barrierefreien Dokumentenformat erster Güte entwickelt. Allle zwei Jahre öffnet die ICCHP ihre Tore für drei Tage voll gepackt mit allem um IT und Barrierefreiheit. In diesem Jahr gibt es erstmals eine Session zu PDF/UA geleitet von Markus Erle, wertewerk, Samuel Hofer, xyMedia, und Olaf Drümmer, callas software.
“PDF/UA – A New Era for Document Accessibility. Understanding, Managing and Implementing the ISO Standard PDF/UA (Universal Accessibility)” lautet der Titel der Session und deutet an, dass es den Vortragenden wirklich um ein neues Zeitalter geht: auf dem Hintergund des PDF/UA-Standads der ISO wird erwartet, dass PDF sich zu einem barrierefreien Dokumentenformat erster Güte entwickelt.
