Can I convert an XFA form ( static / dynamic and generated using LifeCycle) to PDFA 1b ?

Does the standard allow conversion of XFA forms ?

Acrobat currently is unable to apply any fixup on the XFA form as permissions of "Changing the document" are set to "not allowed"

Does anyone know of any way to change those permissions

Dear Viny,

I think you will have to ask the creator fo the XFA fork to unock the form, such that changes to the form are then allowed.

Companies like Adobe [though I do not and cannot speak on behalf of Adobe] as well as my own company callas software tend to have a strict policy on protection mechanisms – somebody decided to protect the form against changes, so it seems that person did not want others to change the document (a conversion to some other format like PDF/A-1b is a kind of change). Any mechanism that "unprotects" the form is circumventing a protection mechanism. Such circumvention is against the law in the USA, in the EU and probably a lot of other countries, this even "if we could" we woudln't.
