The PDF Compressor Enterprise is a production- and process-oriented solution for document and data conversion and compression. It is ideal for Scan Service Providers as well as enterprises and organisations which require centralized processing.

Outstanding Document Compression: Award-winning mixed raster content (MRC) compression technology compresses color scanned PDF or PDF/A files to the same size as black/white TIFF G4 files. Despite a hundredfold compression rate, the outstanding image quality and readability of the text are preserved. The PDF Compressor’s JBIG2 compression almost halves file sizes for black/white documents compared with TIFF G4 files. Optimal compression results lead to low file sizes and bandwidth requirements while maintaining quality.

Integrated OCR Solution: ABBYY’s integrated OCR technology makes all PDF and PDF/A files full text searchable as well as allowing output in additional formats such as XML, MS Word or text.

Fast start-up: The LuraDocument PDF Compressor Enterprise can go into operation on the user’s side within a few hours, without any programming knowledge. Some of this is down to the easy-to-use interfaces, which allow all job parameters to be quickly and clearly defined. The rest is down to the fact that the software can be directly downloaded; even activation can be completed electronically. As a rule, the software can be started up and configured without training.

With the “Born Digital Option” module, electronically created documents from MS Office, Outlook (e-mails) and electronically produced PDF files can be converted into PDF or PDF/A files in batches just as easily as scanned paper documents. With the “Digital Signature” add-on module – a BSI-certified signature solution – a document can be converted and signed in a single pass.
