PDF/A for Scanned Documents – Paper Becomes Digital

PDF/A documents are not only generated from digital sources – a large percentage of documents are created from scanned hard copies received by mail or from files that are being converted to digital form. In such cases, the company has no access to the original files, and the documents that need to be converted into electronic documents are merely paper copies.
